Zoning Changes for Losantiville Rd. Industrial Properties Being Considered
The Golf Manor Planning Commission has initiated a study to amend the zoning for the industrial properties fronting Losantiville Rd. west of Wiehe Rd. to place them in an industrial overlay zone instead of a business zone. This will merge the properties into the adjoining industrial district and open the large lots for further development. The Village will still want some aesthetic controls since this is the gateway to the Village, so it is proposed to rezone the property into an overlay to allow more development controls. The change from business to industrial changes what the available uses may be to allow more manufacturing uses similar to the areas west of the railroad trestle and running back to Section Rd.
A second change would amend the guidelines for development in the overlay giving better aesthetic controls for landscaping and streetscaping along Losantiville Rd.
A third proposed change would update the process in our Code eliminating the requirement for two notices posted in the Cincinnati Enquirer and mirroring The Village of Golf Manor code to the State code.
Finally, the Planning Commission is reviewing proposed changes to the Village sign code both clarifying and simplifying implementation of the Ordinance.
The Planning Commission will meet on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 6:30 PM to consider these changes. This meeting will be held in Council Chambers and is open to the public.
