VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR
The Village Administrator is the chief administrative official of the Village, and is appointed by the Mayor and Council.
The Village Administrator position is similar to the Chief CEO position of a corporation, responsible for managing all essential Village services including police, public improvements, recreation, budgeting and finance, strategic planning and development, and all operational departments.
The Village Administrator delegates responsibility and coordinates the many tasks performed daily by Village employees. The Mayor and Council determine policies and set direction for the Village through legislative measures, and the execution of policy is the principal responsibility of the Village Administrator. The Administrator also functions as the human resources director, safety director, road commissioner and fulfills other responsibilities needed for a municipality to function.
Our Village Administrator is Ron Hirth, a former Golf Manor mayor and former member of Council. Mr. Hirth has lived in the Village since 2003 and has served over 40 years in the private business sector as well as on several non-profit boards in the Greater Cincinnati area.
