OVERVIEW

The Village Administration is responsible for “pulling it all together.” Setting the priorities and strategies of the Village, managing to the Village’s mission statement, ensuring the direction of the Mayor, Council, and compliance standards are being met while ensuring Village operations are successfully implemented. These areas are under the supervision of the Village Administrator. Priorities include maintaining our financial sustainability, improving the physical infrastructure of Village roads and assets, and ensuring comprehensive safety programs are deployed throughout the community.

VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR

The Village Administrator is the chief administrative official of the Village, and is appointed by the Mayor and Council. In April of 2018, Ron Hirth was hired as the Village’s Administrator, serving as the Chief Administrative Official. A former Golf Manor mayor and former member of Council, Mr. Hirth has lived in the Village since 2003 and has served over 40 years in the private business sector as well as on several non-profit boards in the Greater Cincinnati area.

During his tenure as Village Administrator, he has annually created a balanced budget in excess of 3 million dollars. The day-to-day operations of the Village, including Police and Public Works departments, are managed by the administrator’s office. He has successfully worked with and negotiated contracts for fire and EMS services as well as successfully secured grant monies for infrastructure projects throughout the municipality, while coordinating services with local, State and Federal sources of support.

Mr. Hirth has managed a variety of projects for the benefit the Village. Some of these include major road, water main, and traffic improvements as well as leveraging grant dollars to purchase and remove blighted properties in the core business district and residential areas. Mr. Hirth works closely with the community and  businesses to ensure they continue to grow and prosper.

Mr. Hirth is an ICMA, OCMA, CAMA, and SHRM member.

OFFICE HOURS

8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Call 513-531-5155 to schedule an appointment.

The police department lobby is open to the public Monday through Friday,  9 am – 5 pm.

Village offices are closed for the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Day (Observed)
  • President’s Day (Observed)
  • Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
  • Juneteenth (Observed)
  • Independence Day July 4th
  • Labor Day (First Monday in September)
  • Veteran’s Day (November 11)
  • Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November)
  • Friday after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Day (December 25th)

Police & Fire services will remain open on these days.

If the holiday falls on a Saturday, the office will be closed on the preceding Friday; if it falls on Sunday the office will be closed on the following Monday.
