GOLF MANOR (2/28/2025) – The Golf Manor Recreation Commission is proud to announce a Yard of the Month program for 2025. The Yard of the Month program invites residents of Golf Manor to showcase their beautiful yards by submitting entries either for their own yard or a neighbor’s yard. Submissions are made through a simple Google Form, and winners are selected each month from April through September. The winning yards will be featured on social media, giving them public recognition, and will receive a commemorative yard sign to proudly display. It’s a fun way to celebrate the efforts of those who take pride in their outdoor spaces and inspire the community to enhance their surroundings.

Yard of the Month Program Rules:

1. Eligibility: Only yards within the Village limits are eligible for submission.
2. Submission Limit: A maximum of one yard can be submitted per month, either your own or a neighbor’s.
3. Submission Method: All entries must be submitted using the official Google Form provided.
4. Announcement: Winners will be announced on the first Tuesday of the month from April through September.
5. Recognition: Winning yards will be featured on the Village’s social media pages and will receive a commemorative yard sign.
6. Judging: The judging panel reserves the right to consider overall yard appearance, creativity, and the inclusion of environmentally beneficial practices like native plantings and pollinator support.
7. Respect for Neighbors: If submitting a neighbor’s yard, please ensure they are aware and agree to be nominated.
