GOLF MANOR (8/25/2021) – The Village of Golf Manor Village Council has directed the Village Administration to temporarily close the multi-level playground set located at Volunteer Park. The closure is immediate and related to an independent evaluation of the structure that was recently conducted. The study revealed several repairs and improvements that need to be made to ensure the continued safety and enjoyment of those who use the attraction.

The Village Administration and Maintenance departments will work to address the items identified in a timely manner.

Volunteer Park remains open daily with all other areas, including the swings, available for use. The Village still advises those using the parks in the Village to use caution during the COVID-19 pandemic and be aware of social distancing and wearing masks during times when social distancing is not feasible,
