Ohio BMV COVID-19 Extensions End Thursday, July 1, 2021


STATE OF OHIO (6/25/2021) –  BMV COVID-19 Extensions Ending July 1.  The Golf Manor Police Department  wants to make all residents aware that effective July, 1, 2021, any vehicle with expired plates cannot be parked on a public roadway. Doing so will result in a citation for non-registration.

With all COVID-19 extensions ending, the deadline for Ohioans to renew their driver licenses, IDs, or vehicle registrations is July 1, 2021. Ohio drivers with an expiration date on or after March 9, 2020 had been exempted during the COVID-19 emergency. Before heading into the BMV, remember to take advantage of the BMV’s virtual queuing system – Get in Line, Online and also check out the number of services available to you from the comfort of your own home through BMV Online Services.
