On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, please join us at Volunteer Park, located at 6450 Wiehe Rd. in Golf Manor, OH to view luminaria lanterns, drink hot chocolate and cider, gather around a bonfire, and meet other wonderful people in our community!

This event is rescheduled from December 15.

Luminaria kits are available for $1. Additionally, your lantern (paper bag) can be decorated to illustrate your artistic talents, honor someone special in your life, or represent your values. Art supplies will be available to decorate your kit.

If you would prefer to have the luminaries at your home we are offering a pack of 20 for the low price of $20. Please follow the steps below and indicate “Home Luminaria” in the order/invoice field with the address you would like them delivered to.

This event will be BYOB. In order to consume alcohol in the park you must show a valid ID and purchase a wristband for $5. Hot apple cider and hot chocolate will be available for $1 per cup.

Lantern decorating and drop-off will begin @ 4:00 p.m.

Lantern lighting will commence @ 6:00 p.m.

We are able to accept card payments at the event but cash is preferred.

The Recreation Commission would like to invite everyone in Golf Manor and surrounding neighborhoods for an opportunity to purchase luminaria festival light kits for only $1 per kit. Each kit consists of a paper bag, a tea candle, and sand. To purchase a kit, click the link below. In addition to the required payment information (indicated by red asterisks), please include:

2. “LUMINARIA” with the number of kits you wish to purchase in the Order/Invoice field.
