GOLF MANOR (7/9/2024) – Come meet your neighbors at Golf Manor’s first Buy Nothing Swap! Bring your unwanted or unneeded items – clothes, furniture, decor, books, toys, unexpired food, etc.! Set your items out for others to shop and peruse to see what treasures you might find. Don’t have anything to bring? No problem! Everyone is welcome, no matter what you have to contribute.

Housekeeping:

• This event is not an opportunity to dump large items that cost money to dispose of. DO NOT bring old appliances, very large furniture pieces, etc. If it takes more than one person to move it, this is likely not the event for that item. Please don’t use this event as a way to foot someone else with the bill for disposing of your items.
• Please try to keep your items to something other folks can use! Dead batteries, broken appliances, and other similar items are not appropriate for this event.
• You do not need to stay with your items unless you’d like to take them home with you at the end – anything unclaimed will be donated.
• You are welcome to take any items that you like, including your own items that you brought if they aren’t taken by anyone else!
• Above all else, please be kind and considerate. Everyone working the event is a volunteer, and the point of the event is to meet your neighbors and share items! Say hello to folks, be patient with each other, and be fair.

The Community Hall will have tables labeled with the categories listed below. When you arrive, please put your items out in the areas that at are the best fit. Books, clothing, kitchen items, etc.
