Central Corridor Pipeline Construction Advances to Golf Manor in Late July/August
Project Quarterly Newsletter – July 2021
DUKE ENERGY (7/27/2021) – Information provided by Duke Energy.
Construction on the next portion of the Central Corridor Pipeline (CCP) in Amberley Village, Golf Manor and the City of Cincinnati will begin in late July to early August.
Throughout construction, there will be several bores under the railroad tracks south of Section Road to Losantiville Avenue. Each bore will take a few weeks to install. Following the installation of the bores, the pipeline will be installed using open trench construction methods, which will require lane closures effecting only Losantiville Avenue in Golf Manor. Throughout construction, work will typically take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Work in the area will last several months.
The Duke Energy contractor, lnfrasource, will do their best to ensure that traffic flow is maintained. Directional signage will be displayed along the roadways and sidewalks to inform commuters and pedestrians of lane closures and any detours. We are committed to working with customers along the project route throughout construction. Detailed lane closure information will be updated every Friday on the project website at duke-energy.com/centralcorridor.
We appreciate your patience as we construct this pipeline to serve our southwest Ohio customers.
