Village of Golf Manor Declares Level 2 Snow Emergency
GOLF MANOR (1/5/2025) The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office along with the Village of Golf Manor have declared a Level 2 Snow Emergency the Village and Hamilton County.
Roads are hazardous due to blowing and drifting snow and may be very icy. Only drive if necessary and use extreme caution while traveling. Be aware of crews clearing the roadways, as well as any parking restrictions. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Additionally, tune in to local media for more information on weather and road conditions.
The National Weather Service has declared a Winter Storm Warning effective through Midnight Monday, January 6.
The Village Maintenance department is plowing the roads and keeping streets clear during this snow event.
Please move all vehicles from the primary Snow Emergency routes. This includes Losantiville Avenue and Wiehe Road. Also requesting residents move as many vehicles off the residential streets to on-property parking to avoid your vehicle being “plowed in”.
Keep in mind that plows will always plow the snow from the center of the road to the right curb with the goal of making streets accessible to emergency vehicles and motorists. Where there is a minimal right-of-way, such as Losantiville Avenue east, sidewalks that have been shoveled may be impacted with cleared street snow until plowing has been completed.
Keep up-to-date by following any notices on the Golf Manor website at www.golfmanoroh.gov and visiting the Road Tracker link on the home page for any road closures or notices.
