Police Captain Ryland Reed was born and raised in the College Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati. He joined the Golf Manor Police Department in 2017, was promoted to Sergeant in 2018, and Captain in 2023. Before joining the GMPD, Captain Reed spent approximately ten years protecting the beautiful beaches of South Carolina before returning to the Cincinnati area. While that time was enjoyable, “I’m thrilled to be back in Cincinnati, working in this community where I spent a lot of time during my childhood. Officer Timothy Baird is a Harrison High School graduate. Upon graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served as a member of the Security Forces. He served for 6 years, and deployed twice into combat zones. He was honorably discharged in 2013, then returned back to Cincinnati to continue his career in law enforcement. Upon graduation from the Butler Tech police academy, he served the City of Mt Healthy for 7 years as a patrolman, and most recently with Ross Township. Officer Baird completed multiple advanced trainings that make him an asset to the Village of Golf Manor.
