Little Free Food Pantry House
Golf Manor’s Recreation Committee and WeTHRIVE! are pleased to announce our communities’ first little, free food pantry house for neighbors and friends living in or near our community. Golf Manor’s administration is celebrating this accomplishment by having a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, November 16th, at 1:00 p.m., at the pantry house location in front of Tiffany’s Beauty Salon at 2700 Losantiville Avenue, Golf Manor, OH 454237. Everyone is welcomed to come out and help celebrate this event with us.
Funding for this project was provided by the Hamilton County Health Department, WeThrive! and REACH collaborative in an effort to increase access and infrastructure for affordable, healthy food and beverage options for our community.
Anyone who would like to make contributions of personal care and/or non-perishable food items, can bring those items to:
Golf Manor Municipal building at Wiehe Avenue, Golf Manor OH during the hours of 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
Honorable Mention on this project goes to the following individuals:
Danielle Lape, pantry house builder
Captain R. Reed of Golf Manor Police Department
Mills Fence Company
Tiffany Cunningham of Tiffany’s Beauty Salon
Golf Manor Service Department
Here’s some pictures of the volunteer construction team turning the idea of the little pantries into a reality.
