Happy Father’s Day: Changing tables now in all Municipal Restrooms

GOLF MANOR (6/20/21) – Submitted by Golf Manor Mayor Stefan Densmore

Happy Father’s Day! To all you dad’s out there who have ever struggled to change a diaper in a public men’s room, I’ve got a treat for you!

I was able to secure a grant from Procter & Gamble to obtain changing tables for all our municipal restrooms, including those in the park and in the municipal building.

As a father of six kids, I’ve changed a LOT of diapers, and I know how frustrating it can be when there are no changing tables. Though I may need to apologize if you’re a dad who has strategically avoided diaper changing, excusing yourself given the prior lack of tables. You will no longer be able to avoid it! In your case, I guess that will be more of an early Mother’s Day present!

Dad’s are more hands-on than ever when it comes to changing diapers these days, though diaper changing stations are still not always readily available in men’s public restrooms. That’s no longer the case in the Village of Golf Manor! Thank you to Proctor & Gamble, and to our Village maintenance staff for making this a reality. #lovethechange

This report is respectfully submitted to the residents of Golf Manor. Thank you for the honor of being your Mayor. To our staff and elected officials, thank you for your service to the community.
