Hamilton County Accepting Applications for Round Two of Small Business Relief Program Starting Monday, August 24

Hamilton County, Ohio (8/14/2020) – Mark your calendars. On Monday, August 24th at 12:00 p.m., Hamilton County will begin accepting applications for round two of the Hamilton County Small Business Relief Program that awards $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000 grants to eligible businesses.

We made some important changes to eligibility in order to better serve more Hamilton County small businesses in this second round of funding. Some of the notable changes include:

·     Revenues less than 2 million,

·     Received less than $20,000 in federal assistance,

·     Able to show a loss of 15% due to COVID-19 (reduced from 35%).

Please review the updated guidelines here to prepare for when the applications open. The application period is Monday, August 24th at 12:00 p.m. and will close on Friday, September 4th at 12:00 p.m. If the financial need of eligible businesses exceeds the amount of funding, Hamilton County will conduct a lottery using randomizing software to determine which businesses receive the grants.

For additional details about the program, please see the refined eligibility requirements, eligible expenses and application process on our website.

Stay safe and healthy.
