GOLF MANOR (9/19/2018) – The Board of Trustees for the Little Miami Fire & Rescue District (LMFR) has formed an ad hoc committee to study the future financial sustainability of the district. Other items of analysis will include staffing and future capital needs studies.

This ad hoc committee is comprised of the following members: Mayor Carson Shelton, of the Village of Fairfax and board president; Ron Hirth, Village Administrator for Golf Manor and board member; and Mike Lemon, Township Administrator for Columbia Township and board member. All three communities represented are member communities of the LMFR district. In addition, district Chief Jim Puthoff and district clerk/treasurer Jennifer Kaminer, Fairfax Village Administrator, round out the committee.

Ad hoc committee meetings are scheduled to be held prior to regular board meetings which take place at 6 PM on the third Wednesday of each month. These meetings alternate between the Fairfax Municipal Building, located at 5903 Hawthorne Ave. (45227) and the Golf Manor Municipal Building, located at 6450 Wiehe Rd. (45237).

The next ad hoc meeting will be held at Golf Manor on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 5 PM, with the board meeting taking place at 6 PM. These meetings are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
