GMPD Chief Campbell, Capt. Reed & Lt. Forrest Successfully Complete FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Leadership Series

GOLF MANOR (6/2/2025) – Mayor Stefan Densmore and Village Administrator Ron Hirth are pleased to announce that Chief Chris Campbell, Captain Ryland Reed and Lieutenant Michael Forrest have all successfully completed the prestigious FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Leadership Series—a significant milestone that reflects their dedication to professional growth, executive leadership, and the continued excellence of the Golf Manor Police Department (GMPD).

The FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Series consists of three intensive courses: the Supervisory Leadership Institute (SLI), the Command Leadership Institute (CLI), and the Executive Leadership Institute (ELI). Each course is designed to build upon the last, covering critical areas such as leadership theory, effective communication, ethical decision-making, risk management, and strategic planning. Experienced law enforcement professionals lead these programs, which are nationally recognized as some of the most valuable leadership training available in modern policing.

Our leadership team’s commitment to completing this series demonstrates each individual’s personal dedication and a profound investment in the future of our department. The knowledge and skills gained from the Trilogy will undoubtedly enhance departmental operations, mentor rising leaders, foster team cohesion, and strengthen our connection with the communities we serve.

Together, Chief Campbell, Captain Reed, and Lieutenant Forrest, provide a collective leadership experience that significantly enriches our command staff’s capabilities. We now look forward to the upcoming completion of the Trilogy by Sergeant Justin Blanton, which will mark a historic milestone—earning our agency the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Agency Award, recognizing our entire command staff as fully certified in one of the most highly respected law enforcement leadership programs in the country.

Please join us in congratulating Chief Campbell, Captain Reed, and Lieutenant Forrest on this outstanding accomplishment. This achievement represents personal success and a meaningful step forward in our shared mission of progressive, ethical, and effective law enforcement leadership.
