On behalf of the dedicated men and women of the Golf Manor Police Department, it is my honor to serve as the leader of your Police Department. Let me be the first to welcome you to the Village of Golf Manor.

We are excited to have you seeking additional insight about our department and the men and women who take great pride in serving and protecting our community. The mission of this agency is to enforce the law and serve the community professionally and with integrity while working cooperatively with our residents/partners.

The officers of the Golf Manor Police Department are among the best in the nation. Agencies from around the country regularly come to Golf Manor to train with our staff. We are fortunate that some of the trainings our Officers are actually the instructors teaching the courses.

All GMPD Officers routinely receive continuing education on topics such as CIT/Mental Health, De-Escalation, Autism Awareness, among various other topics. Our agency is also certified Gold status from Lexipol (Policy and Procedures), an internationally recognized policy and procedure development company.

GMPD Leadership have attended and obtained various Leadership Certifications, to include the FBINAA Leadership Certification, Police Executive Leadership College, and FBI LEEDA. We are also nationally recognized by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) as a Missing Kids Readiness Program (MKRP) member. Additionally, we have completed requisite training with the Police 2 Peace program (a New Community Policing Framework), and is actively seeking agency certification. We are constantly striving to be better while providing the best police services possible.
