Join Advisory Committee for Playground Equipment and Future Park Development.

GOLF MANOR (7/12/21) – Submitted by Golf Manor Mayor Stefan Densmore

I’m asking for volunteers from the community to serve as advisors for future park development. I’m looking for young people, seniors, and parents-of-young-kids in the neighborhood, to consult with the council and administration on what they would like to see for the park. The first order of business will concern replacement options for our park playground equipment.

The Village Administration has notified me of the need to replace the aging equipment, and is in receipt of a 50k grant to do so. I initially requested research into the possibility of refurbishment such that the 50k can be used to expand the playground with additional equipment. We were then notified however that our insurance company wouldn’t allow that, so I’m specifically asking parents of young GM kids to make recommendations on what types of equipment we purchase to replace what we have now.

Those who contact us will receive correspondence about the specific equipment options available to us, and help us make our decision. Please email me directly at sdensmore@golfmanoroh.gov if interested in participating.

This report is respectfully submitted to the residents of Golf Manor. Thank you for the honor of being your Mayor. To our staff and elected officials, thank you for your service to the community.
