The Village of Golf Manor will contract with a third-party vendor to provide solid waste, recycling and yard waste recycling to residents of the Village. Our goal is to provide dependable, environmentally friendly service that ensures waste is effectively contained and stored until pick-up and that litter from this storage and collection process is eliminated.
- We must ensure that fees are appropriate and affordable for users considering the average median income for residents at $37,282, 20% of residents living in poverty, and 26% of children living in poverty (1).
- We must support the health and wellness of the Golf Manor community, keeping the Village an attractive and clean place to live while maintaining the Village mission of providing the best services to taxpayers at the best cost.
Our intent is to engage a vendor that will execute a direct relationship with residents for operation of waste collection service and all administrative components of that service including customer service, issuing receptacles, troubleshooting service issues and other operational issues.
