Mar. 31 & 4/1: Severe Storms Tonight/High Wind Saturday
The severe weather threat for tonight into Saturday has increased. Hamilton County is under an Enhanced Risk for severe weather, with strong damaging winds continuing to be the main threat. Isolated tornadoes are possible, and the National Weather Service has stated a Tornado Watch being issued is LIKELY. Severe thunderstorm onset time for the County is expected to be 10PM-2AM.
Please note the onset of the severe weather, which could include high winds and has a risk of a tornado is 10pm – 2am. In addition to damage to buildings and trees, power outages are possible.

With the severe weather occurring overnight, we want to emphasize the importance of having multiple ways to receive tornado warnings and other emergency alerts. We also encourage residents to have their phones set up to received Wireless Emergency Alerts from the National Weather Service and our agency. This is usually found under the notification section and labeled as emergency alerts.
