GM Candidates & Tax Renewal On Ballot for Tuesday, November 7 General Election
GOLF MANOR (9/24/2023) – This coming General Election Day, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, will see one tax levy renewal issue effecting Golf Manor operations on the ballot for voter consideration, along with the mayor, two council members for 4-year terms and one council member for a 2-year unexpired term.
Issue 6 is a renewal of a current tax for the benefit of the Village of Golf Manor, for the purpose of current operating expenses at a rate not exceeding two (2) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twenty cents ($0.20) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2024, first due in calendar year 2024. This tax renewal does not increase current taxes.
The proposed text for both Issue 6 and candidates for consideration are on the ballot listed on the Hamilton County Board of Elections website for both Golf Manor Precinct A and Precinct B.
The Hamilton County Board of Elections will locate in-person voting at Golf Manor Precincts A & B polls at the Municipal Building Community Hall located at 6450 Wiehe Rd. from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm for voting on Tuesday, November 7. The entrance to the polls is located at the back of Community Hall.
Early voting by mail or in-person at the Hamilton County Board of Elections begins on October 11. See the Hamilton county Board of Elections website for information on both or to check your registration to vote. The deadline for registration for this election is Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
