Business Relief Available from Small Business Administration Related to COVID -19

GOLF MANOR (3/16/2020) –In an effort to contain the Covid-19 virus, our state and federal governments have implemented several precautions that may result in negatively impacting small businesses in the Village.  To provide some relief the Ohio Development Services Agency is preparing to submit an application in the coming week to qualify Ohio for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program.  This program will provide low-interest loans up to $2 million in order to help businesses and nonprofit organizations overcome the temporary loss of revenue during the state of emergency.  These loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, and other bills that cannot be paid because of the impact of Covid-19.

The State of Ohio is requesting that businesses impacted by Covid-19 to immediately send their contact information to BusinessHelp@Development.Ohio.gov.  The Village of Golf Manor strongly encourages all local businesses in the Village to comply with this request.

Additionally, the Village of Golf Manor will also provide updates as to the relief program as more information becomes available.  For more information about the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Program please visit:  https://www.sba.gov/funding-programs/disaster-assistance.
