New Village Administrator Appointed
The Village of Golf Manor welcomed our new Village Administrator, Brian Gilligan, to the Village on Monday, January 23, 2017.
Mayor Ron Hirth appointed Brian N. Gilligan as Village Administrator effective Monday, January 23, 2017. Mr. Gilligan’s appointment was unanimously approved by Council in its regular meeting on January 9, 2017 and was sworn into office by the mayor during Council’s regular meeting on Monday, January 23, 2017.
Gilligan comes to Golf Manor with over 22 years of public sector experience in local government including multiple positions with the Hamilton County Clerk of Courts, of which the most recent was Assistant Chief of Special Projects. In addition, he serves as a volunteer on the Financial Advisor Board for Delhi Township, Ohio. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Northern Kentucky University. Gilligan is married to Christine and together they have three children.
The Village Administrator serves as the chief non-elected, full-time executive, administrative and fiscal officer of the Village reporting to the mayor. Gilligan will directly supervise management, professional and clerical staff including the police chief, fire chief, administrative staff and the building, tax, and service departments.
